This'll Be The Last Time

HisGRANDmajesty Performed (mostly) in a basement and recorded with only an iphone, all in single takes, one layer at a time, this collection of broken music (spanning 2010 through 2013) has reached it's final form (hence the latest title change) -- If you don't own the album, you can't see that it also includes 4 bonus tracks (an EP recorded around the same time, circa 2013). It's the lowest lo-fi, void of self-discipline, and terribly good (or awful) reminder of how far FOaBA has come. Favorite track: Infinite Yous.

about

Depending on what you consider to actually be an "album", you could say this was my first. It isn't the oldest music I have recorded, but it's close. This music is painfully lo-fi, in spite of remixes and such -- but it IS music -- and much of it that I am quite proud and fond of. It's here for anyone who wants to listen.

Like all of my music, it's free. Paying for anything I make musically should be reserved for if you want to. "want" is an important word here. I didn't struggle and spend all those hours toiling away to put a price tag on it. No, I struggled and toiled and loved every minute of it.

And I'm sharing the results of those hours, minutes, moments of my life -- captured and painstakingly edited in such a way so as to induce the creation and releasing of brain chemicals, or whatever it is that shit is, you know what I'm talking about. And if this music doesn't do that for you, then why are you listening to it? But if you are and continue to do so for whatever your reasons, I thank *you* for your time and energy and patience.

Anyway! I'm off to get back at it, or maybe something else. It really depends on my mood and whether or not I'm alive. Perhaps I am dead, and you're reading this sometime after the fact. You would/should mourn for me *no* less than at least as long as it takes you to sit through all of my music -- all of it! -- and all in one go; with breaks only to pee and/or return any important text messages you might receive during such time.

For example, if the message was from me, which would only occur if I were not dead, then of course you would pause for a moment while you reply -- after all, you would need to be able to give no less than 100% of your brain power for "listening" (to such music in question, under those circumstances)

[[ EXCEPT for in the -- pardon me -- *laughably* unlikely chance that YOU

yes, You

.....just so happen to be one of those incredibly rare and exotic individuals, all cultured, good looking, and appallingly modest -- *of course* has an acquired taste for my .... kind ..... of music.

Remember -- this is only an example!

Also, did I mention that it's free? No need to thank me -- if you were about to interrupt just then to thank me -- bupbup! You just go ahead and rellllax, sit back down, headphones on, no distractions, volume as close to 11 as you like, and breathe. Especially if your breath was taken away! Can't have that! I'm the one who should be dying here, remember? I need you alive and well.

born out of extensive drug use, poor timing with a microphone, and a general "rushed" sense of urgency, with no patience for, you know, production value.
